Easter Cupcakes
~ Ingredients ~
1 pkg. store bought cupcake mix per directions
1 can store bought vanilla/white icing
1 bottle of green food coloring
1 pkg. Robin's Eggs
1 large pkg. coconut flakes
~ Directions ~
Cook the cupcakes per directions on box and let cool completely. While cooling, place coconut flakes in a large Ziploc bag with desired amount of green food coloring (more=darker green). Shake bag until color is evenly distributed. After the cupcakes have cooled, apply icing and dip into coconut flakes to cover the top. Place 3-4 Robin's Eggs in the middle of each cupcake to resemble a bird's nest. This is a great treat for an Easter Egg Hunt or just a fun springtime activity for your kids!
